AEP (AppleTalk Echo Protocol) ist ein Netzwerkprotokoll im AppleTalk-Protokollstapel, das die Erreichbarkeit von Netzwerkknoten überprüft. Es funktioniert ähnlich wie das ICMP-Ping-Protokoll in TCP/IP-Netzwerken.
